We are often asked, "Are Chiropractors Doctors?" and the answer is an overwhelming "Yes!" We are trained diagnosticians with backgrounds emphasizing anatomy of the joints (not just the spine), muscles, nerves and overall human physiology (function). Chiropractic care may be used for a variety of reasons from pain relief to greater quality of life. It is appropriate for all ages; Dr. Baar can be considered a pediatric chiropractor as well as an adult chiropractor, delivering, safe, age-appropriate adjustments to the individual patient. The chiropractic adjustment is a safe, and typically comfortable form of treatment aimed at restoring the optimal function of the body. Dr. Baar practices a Diversified style of chiropractic care using manual, Activator (tool-assisted), and drop table techniques. Any or all of these techniques may be used during a treatment depending on the condition, preference, and response to the technique. Dr. Baar will accommodate any preference you may have, assuming there is not a condition that would contraindicate the use of the requested adjustment technique. Patients have experienced success with chiropractic care for many conditions including, but not limited to headaches, neck pain, jaw pain, back pain, sciatica, sinus pain, ear infections, colic, plantar fasciitis, and carpal tunnel. 

Acupuncture is a treatment method which aims to balance body systems using specific points located on the body. Different points will be used depending on a particular complaint. An acupuncture session will take approximately 30 minutes. Dr. Baar welcomes any questions as to how acupuncture may help you. Patients have experienced success with acupuncture treatment for conditions including, but not limited to headaches, neck and back pain, joint pain, jaw pain, difficult sleeping, stress, muscular tightness, and women’s health issues.
