Meet Dr. Cassandra Baar, DC

Dr. Baar was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. She is a 2005 honors graduate of O’Gorman High School, where her first interests in chiropractic began to develop. Growing up, she participated in various athletic programs, traveling competitively for golf, basketball and soccer. After high school, she continued to pursue her career in chiropractic while on full academic scholarship at the University of Dayton, in Dayton, OH. Dr. Baar graduated with honors in 2009, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pre-Physical Therapy with an emphasis in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She then transitioned to St. Louis, MO where she attended Logan College of Chiropractic and received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2012, with honors. While at Logan, she successfully completed elective training in the study of acupuncture and Active Release Technique®. In 2022 she completed coursework in dry needling to further her skillset and offer more options for musculoskeletal conditions addressed at Innate.

In choosing to attend Logan, Dr. Baar deliberately created an opportunity for herself to provide different techniques and treatment perspectives in the Sioux Falls area. "I am happy to provide Logan Basic Technique to my patients, a low force technique for any patient, and extremely beneficial to the human nervous system. I am also proud to be one of the very few practitioners offering Active Release Technique® in the area. ART® is a soft tissue technique developed to relieve tissue adhesions and facilitate the chiropractic adjustment as our bodies adapt to wellness."

In her free time, Dr. Baar enjoys spending time with her wife, their daughter and their dogs. When she isn't reading or watching TV, she is usually daydreaming of her next adventure abroad. She's been to Australia, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Iceland and Bora Bora and is always looking for travel recommendations!
